Sean Anderson is an Associate in Goodwin’s New York office.
BMW: When you were 8, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Sean: I wanted to be a professional baseball player. I started playing when I was 5 years old and played competitively through high school. As a sophomore, I had the opportunity to play in a CIF championship game at Angel Stadium – we lost, but the opposing pitcher ended up playing in the MLB so I’ve come to terms with it. I was recruited to play at UC San Diego, but decided to shift focus to engineering and surfing after my first semester.
BMW: Where would we find you on a Saturday afternoon?
Sean: Doing something active! Depending on the season, you’d find me biking, surfing, skiing, rock climbing, or playing pick-up basketball.
BMW: What motivates you to work in the life sciences/biosimilars field?
Sean: I enjoy the challenge of working in a field that’s constantly adapting to new technology. There’s always something new to learn and I get to work with talented attorneys and scientists on high-impact cases. I’m also proud to work with companies that improve access to life-changing treatments.
