Q&A With March’s Featured Editor: Khurram Naik
Khurram Naik is an Associate in Goodwin’s Boston office.
BMW: What is something on your bucket list?
Khurram: I don’t have a bucket list, but I would like to see all the Vermeer paintings in the world. People disagree how many there are, but many people say 36. I’ve seen 19 of them. Considering the one stolen from the Isabella Gardner Museum, estimated to be worth $200 million – I think to own that is so wrong, and yet it reflects such passion for art.
BMW: When people come to you for help, what do they usually want help with?
Khurram: How to make my mango smoothie – frozen mango, Greek yogurt, whole milk, coconut oil, dates, oats, pinch of salt.
BMW: What spurred your interest in life sciences?
Khurram: The term “life sciences” is pretty evocative. The gains in quality of life from improved medical care have done a lot for human well-being. It’s nice to be a part of it.
